Weigh-in day. We are in Anaheim, California this week, not more than two long blocks from Disneyland. We are enjoying our time here with family and friends.
Here’s a thought. “People don’t like change. When other people change it challenges their view of what is constant and subconsciously dependable in their life.” (From SparkPeople Message Board)
I believe the thought of having to make changes if you are going to diet is a tough obstacle to overcome. And there will be changes if you are going to diet. If you are gaining weight on a regular basis, you are eating too much for whatever reason and you will have to make lifestyle changes.
If you love pizza and eat pizza out every Friday night, then you will have to make a change. If you often eat Big Mac’s for lunch then you will have to make a change. If you don’t want to make the change, then don’t think about dieting.
If you need to diet, then my suggestion is that you make the necessary changes a little at a time. Sneak up on change while asking for God’s grace to enable you to change.
Travel is hard on the scale.
