This is the end of the tenth week on our diet. We probably won’t say this every week from here on but we will keep you informed on how we are doing with the diet. This diet is more than a diet, but a change in the way we eat. We will continue to fine-tune the diet.
We are at North Myrtle Beach this week, so we have the extra challenge of traveling and staying on plan. In fact, since Sunday was our 40th wedding anniversary we did go to Longhorn Steak and chose a dinner that fit in the plan. Not a big ol’ T-bone steak; wasn’t on the plan.
We continue look for meals and snacks that fit the plan. We are thinking Chinese type food or stir-fry which helps with the veggies and still provides a little variety. Someone once said the average family only has about 10 different meals they fix.
I have lost 22 pounds and Charlene has lost 15. Success is a good motivator and grace is the power to make it through the mean times.
