One thing we’ve had reinforced on this trip is beware of negativism. In other words, beware of the naysayers. The problem is that you find them everywhere. They’re the ones who aren’t excited about what you’re excited about. They’re the ones who quickly put a damper on your enthusiasm. They’re the ones who say NAY (NO!) to the question(s) you ask. You might be asking about things to see and do where you are. You might be asking about places that serve healthy food. They’ll have their opinion(s) and freely give it to you. The key here is that you don’t have to receive their word. You can decide for yourself, which we did on recent trips. And in doing so, we decided the naysayers were WRONG. The places we went, the things we did, and the food we ate were all good. So, we’re not listening to the naysayers. We’ll make our own decisions. How about you?
