The other day I wrote about choices. In the diet industry, it seems the new diet always brings new choices. Each diet has a new choice or it wouldn’t be a new diet. Something has to be different in the latest diet.
We know the more choices the more confusing dieting has become. One “expert” says this about a diet and another “expert” says the opposite. What’s a dieter to do? Do what’s right for you. If you’ve been dieting very long, you know that eating cabbage every meal is just not going to work for you. You know that you just can’t eat one piece of pizza (unless it’s one from a two-foot wide pizzas). For me personally, I just don’t like fish. Many diets have fish as one of its main protein sources. In fact the diet we are on now only has three protein choices, chicken, turkey, and fish. That cuts it down to two choices for me, although I have been eating some Albacore tuna.
The choice you make today will affect you weight loss and health tomorrow. That’s the same as saying what you eat today will affect your health tomorrow. Of course when I say diet, I mean all that goes into weight loss including food and exercise.
If you keep putting off making the right choice, then you are putting off your health. Time will run out on you. Start today to make the right choices and tomorrow will be a better day.
It’s up to us to make the choices. No one will choose for us. In fact, others hinder our choices. Stay focused on what is right for you. Don’t let other people make the choice for you. Not making a choice is also making a choice. You are choosing for health tomorrow.
