Have you been casting down those thoughts which tend to sidetrack your diet? The weight loss journey will go much easy when you do. One of the first thoughts that kicks in after you start a diet is “I’ll be glad when this is over.” And you might add to that, “So I can get back to my normal eating.” If you are overweight or obese or even worse, you must corral that thought and hustle it quickly out of your mind. Your diet will be what you will eat from now on. When you get to your goal, which by the way few do, you can’t go back to eating the same way that got you to the overweight condition. Just get it in your mind that you have changed the way you eat from now on until eternity comes. Some will call it a lifestyle change. One person said bread was his Achilles heel. So for him he never eats bread. For you it might be some other food, like cookies, etc. Get it in your thinking that this is the new way you eat the rest of your life.
