If you want to lose weight just to see the scale move then reconsider the reason you want to lose weight. As you know if you’ve read any of my scale blogs, I am 100% for the use of the scale. I use it every day to monitor my weight loss journey. But the scale is not the reason I’m on a weight loss journey, except for the weight itself. The reasons for weight loss are many and we all need at least one to drive our motivation when things get tough. The scale, as I say over and over, is just a tool to help us along the way. It’s a quick measurement on how things are going. It’s a morning reminder to keep up the good work and to keep the faith. The scale might motivate you each morning, especially if you are down a little, but it’s not the reason for your weight loss trip. So, monitor your weight and remember your reasons for losing.
