Grace gives you the freedom to choose or refuse a particular food. Sometimes grace almost sounds like law. The law says thou shalt not. I am on a rather restricted diet. Law would say thou shalt not eat donuts. But grace says although I can eat donuts if I want to, I refuse to eat donuts. Though the end result is that I don’t eat the donut. The way I go about it is through freedom even though diets might seem like law with the foods you can or cannot eat. Under grace, you are free from the law and free to make the choice. That’s probably why I quit so many diets. I didn’t want to be under the law of that diet. But if you pick a diet that you like and that works for you, then it’s no longer the law of the diet you are under but the freedom to choose the plan and stick to it by choice. Some people will diet under the law of that diet, and then when weight is gone, they drop the diet and put the weight back on. People by nature do not like the oppressive nature of law. You have the freedom to choose the food you desire to put on your plan.
