As we said last week, for every food there will be hundreds of pros and cons (mostly cons) about eating it. We mentioned bread for example. At some point you are going to have to say, I’m going to have a piece of toast for breakfast, I’m going to have a pat of butter on it or some sugar-free jam or a little peanut butter spread on it. With that sentence I just had hundreds of experts raise their hands in protest.
Then after choosing the healthy breakfast that you enjoy, you pray over it. “I thank you Father for your provision. I receive it with joy and thanksgiving. Sanctify it according to your word. Amen.”
“3Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God has created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 4For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 5For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer” (1 Timothy 4:3-5).
Too many dieters are on this struggle to decide what is healthy to eat. Remember there are a lot of these experts out there trying to sell their opinions. Choose wisdom in it all.
