“Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat?” (Matthew 6:31). Are you anxious about what you should eat or not? Some people get so caught up with trying to have the perfect diet. Don’t eat this and don’t touch that. Yes, you need to have a diet that you believe is healthy. It’s much more than calories. So pick a healthy diet and take not thought about it. Don’t let thoughts about it disturb you. Some people are fanatics about what they eat and will quickly tell you that you aren’t eating right. Some people only eat organic. But if you don’t want to spend the extra, don’t buy it and don’t worry about it. Many experts say there’s not enough evidence to prove any real advantage to eating organic foods. So the debate goes on. Eating organic probably won’t hurt you. The point is not the details of each debate, but that you shouldn’t lose any sleep over it. Take no anxious thought. Then do as you think best.
