Negative thoughts are dangerous to weight loss if not totally destructive. Remove negatives and replace with positives. How about an alliteration to help you remember? Realize, recognize, remove, and replace. When a thought comes into your head, realize it is a negative thought and a lie. Recognize the implications to your well-being. Negative thoughts will undermine your good efforts to reach your weight loss goals. Recognize that your thinking has been breached or hacked. Then remove that thought from your mind. Just speak to it like it is an enemy. “No I don’t need that.” “No I don’t want that.” “That does not fit my plan.” And finally replace it with positive thoughts such as scripture verses. “I am the righteousness in Christ Jesus.” “I am more than a conqueror through Christ.” Don’t sweep out the negative without filling it with the positive. Guard your mind from the negative and feed it with the positive.
