I’ve been on a lot of diets in my life. Some of them I even lost weight on. I like a quote I saw that says, “If you’re tired of starting over, stop giving up.” Granted there may legitimate reasons for giving up on a diet. Some just seem too complicated. Others are too expensive. Some diets require exotic foods or supplements. There are plenty of diets that will fit your needs. Find one and commit to it. I don’t plan on ever being on a weight loss diet again once I have reached my goal. I’m hoping that I have already reached it…as I write this I’m still in the weight loss phase. My maintenance phase will be a whole different aspect of life. I will use what I learned on weight loss to maintain my weight loss. Since I have never reached my weight loss goal, this is new territory for me. I’ve not been this way before. It is just as important if not more important than the weight loss itself. We lift the restrictions and I will have to choose my food. But by grace I will maintain my weight loss. I will never need to begin another weight loss diet.
