This applies to all areas of life. However, this is a diet blog. Yet it certainly applies to dieting.
How many of you worry about your health? So you diet and exercise. Yet you worry about whether you are doing it the best way. We see diets advertised that make you think all others are unhealthy. You begin to fear you are doing the wrong diet.
There is also the worry of eating bad food. If fear gets a foothold in your life, you might refuse to eat anything. There are some food preparation and refrigeration principles we should follow. But a lot of it is out of our control.
Most of us fulltime dieters have tried all the diets that have come along. We aren’t doing them any more for one reason or another. We continue to look for that diet that helps us lose the most weight and still we can eat good tasting food. Kale they say is delicious. It’s nutritious but not so delicious. Pizza is delicious but not so nutritious.
Don’t let worry or anxiety ruin your health. It’s worse than eating pizza.
“…and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.” (1 Timothy 4:4-5) This is the key to worry-free eating. Just sanctify it or set apart by prayer and believe the promises of the Word. With all the potential problems with food, use wisdom and trust God when you take that bite.
