Dr. Joe Dispenza a noted Neuroscientist says “we have about 60 to 70 thousand thoughts per day. 90% of those thoughts are the same as the day before. The same thoughts lead to the same choices. 95% of who you are by the time you are 35 is memorized in such a way your body is now doing things without thinking.” If you are older than that I’m sure the percentage goes up. You choices are set. So no wonder it’s hard to diet. You mind is locked in patterns of thinking and it’s hard to change them. But not impossible and with God’s grace your thinking can be transformed from the inside out. We have to learn new things to think new thoughts and change the brain patterns. That’s why it is so important to renew our thinking. Otherwise we make the same choices we always have and wonder why we don’t make any weight loss progress. That means we have to change how we think about the foods we have always eaten and especially those that made us fat. Then we must operate our thinking to the new ideas we feed it. Sounds complicated yes.
