Excuses undermine your whole way of life and this is particularly true when it comes to weight loss. As I’ve mentioned before—many times—weight loss dieting is difficult. It takes your whole being—body, soul, and spirit, working in full cooperation and unity to make it a successful endeavor. Over 95% of people don’t make it. That means to be one of the 5% that do, you have to be strong to make it. You don’t need things that are going to weaken your resolve to win at weight loss. Excuses are one of those things that make you weak. This isn’t only true for weight loss but every area of your life. Every time you say “I can’t” you weaken your possibilities. Every excuse cuts your resources to endure the troubles and temptations that come with weight loss dieting. You just don’t need them. If excuses make you weak, then no excuses makes you strong. And positive thinking about yourself and about the new you will strengthen. But knowing God’s Word on the matter will make you even stronger. His grace is sufficient. You can do all things through Christ. No excuses please.
