Excuse – We go camping every weekend. I’m not sure what you mean by “camping.” I like to camp out in a motel room. Others take their RV to the woods and call that camping. Many years ago I was a Scoutmaster, and we hiked into our campsite with only what we could carry. That was camping. We also had tailgate camping, which was driving to the campsite and setting up our tents. The word “camping” means something different to everyone. The dictionary defines camping as, “the activity spending a vacation living in a camp, tent, or camper.” So what does all this have to do with weight loss? Not much. You have to eat wherever you go. Therefore, you stay on your weight loss eating plan wherever you go. Whether it’s roughing it or camping in a large RV, you still eat according to plan. Sorry you can’t use this as an excuse. In fact, on the little camping I’ve done, eating less was normal. We didn’t sit around and watch TV. There is activity going on. Maybe boating, hiking, exploring, and other physical activities go along with camping. So go camping every weekend and take your weight loss plan with you.
