I just looked at their latest ad and the Bogos are for things like soda, chips, ice cream, pasta, mayonnaise, cookies, crackers, and cereal—all things the average weight loss diet doesn’t include. They had a couple of things that are on usually diets, such as organic tomatoes, frozen vegetables, humus, and spring water. Bogos are a good deal—50% off and are hard to pass up. In fact, you should take advantage of any discounts you can find, unless you have too much money. You just have to make sure you don’t fall for unhealthy choices. Some stores have other types of discounts. Twofer, 10 for a discounted price, and weekly loss leaders to get you into the store. Use all these tools to get your food budget down. You can sometimes find clearance items on a special shelf. Just don’t take the donuts. Pick and choose wisely products that fit your diet. Don’t just buy a bag of chips because they are buy one get one FREE. Free doesn’t mean it’s good for your weight loss journey.
