I’ll start tomorrow. That just reminds me of Annie’s song Tomorrow. “Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya, tomorrow, You’re always a day away!” What do they say: tomorrow never comes? Or like Mark Twain: “Never put off till tomorrow what may be done day after tomorrow just as well.” Or as some say, “why do today what you can put off until tomorrow.” We are not promised a tomorrow. We have today. If you want to see change in your life, you have to start today. Benjamin Franklin said that famous quote—“Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today.” When it comes to weight and health, today is the best day to do something about it. Don’t slip it to tomorrow, then slide it to the next day, and the next. Procrastination is the path to failure. Even the Bible says, “Don’t put it off; do it now! Don’t rest until you do” (Proverbs 6:4 NLT). Or as the Nike slogan goes, “Just do it.” Successful people manage their time. If something needs done, they do it. If you need to lose weight, do it, now.
