Excuse – I just don’t care. You don’t care about health, length of days, quality of life, friends and family, fitness, and finances. Many people just don’t want to diet even if they need to diet. If the “I don’t care attitude” is just for dieting, then fine, but if that’s your general attitude to life then you have serious problems. Life is wild. You are to enjoy life. If you have obsessed over your weight since you were young, I get it. You are just tired of trying to diet, keeping a mental calorie counter going in your mind, and feeling elated one day and depressed the next. No wonder you don’t care about weight loss.
Like me, you have probably been on a hundred diets, learning new weight loss protocols, failing and trying the next one to come along. Most diets are too restrictive. You can’t eat any of your favorite foods. You are tired of carrots and celery. Sometimes I get to a point I almost hate salad. My suggestion is care about your life. Find a plan you enjoy. Eat a little less and exercise a little more. Fill you days with joy and love yourself. Maybe get a little weight off in the meantime.
