“I don’t like vegetables.” Then you aren’t going to be much of a dieter. Vegetables should be a large part of a healthy diet for everyone. However, doing a search on “I hate vegetables” there are many people who hate vegetables. I’m not sure what else you eat besides meat that will help you lose weight. Part of this is just an excuse to stay away from dieting. And in reading the blogs and comments on people who hate vegetables, I found that they don’t hate all vegetables. Some they don’t like because of their texture. Charlene for the longest time would not eat re-fried beans saying they were mushy beans but she will eat them now. She grew up disliking the greens except for spinach. I don’t like eggplant and not too crazy about the greens either. Most people don’t like certain vegetables. Remember President Bush and his dislike for broccoli? There are a large variety of vegetables. Try some new ones. Go back and visit ones you thought you didn’t like as a youngster. Tastes change as you grow older. Try new recipes and different ways of preparing the veggies. If your list of vegetables is small, eat them. But don’t let your dislike for a few veggies stop you from getting your weight off.
