Excuse – I don’t like fish. Most diets use fish as a primary protein because it is low in fat and calories. For me this is not an excuse but a fact. I can’t stand the smell or the taste of fish. My mother doesn’t and my daughter doesn’t either. There will be some things in a diet listing which you will not like. That’s okay. I am not going to eat something I hate, just because it’s on the diet or it’s healthy. Most people like fish and that fits their diet. I don’t. I usually substitute chicken in place of fish. Don’t let something on the diet keep you from dieting. Food is meant to be enjoyed. It isn’t just fuel. There are some varieties of fish I can eat, such as Albacore tuna in water, but they are not my favorite and I don’t enjoy eating it. Shrimp I like. When you come across things you don’t like, then find a substitute or just omit it. I would never go on a seafood diet. I would as they say go on a see food diet. I see it, I eat it. Don’t allow something listed on the diet be an excuse to not diet.
