Does your diet leave you hungry? Then change your diet. You can’t stick to your diet if you find yourself so hungry that any food at all sounds appealing. It’s not fun if you are hungry. Now I’m talking about the hunger a person might get because they are just not eating enough. The body needs a certain amount of calories and nutrients to survive and thinking you can cut below that level to lose weight is a losing proposition. Now a diet by its very nature is providing you with fewer calories than your body wants. You have to have a deficit in order to lose weight. Now if you just want to eat like you were eating then don’t go on a diet. But if you do diet, find one that supplies enough nutritious food to satisfy you. Don’t eat 3 ounces of meat when 8 ounces is better. Being hungry will also make you feel cranky, weak, and tired, and generally all around negative. And being hungry just opens you up to diet failure. Everything you see looks good and your body screams for it.
