Are your excuses stronger than your dreams? Here is a definition of a dream you can put to the test: A dream is an inspiring picture of the future that energizes your mind, will and emotions, empowering you to do everything you can to achieve it. A dream worth pursuing is a picture and blueprint of a person’s purpose and potential. As Sharon Hull says, “A dream is the seed of possibility planted in the soul of a human being, which calls him to pursue a unique path to the realization of his purpose.”
I would like to add to that definition the source of your dream. Great dreams are God inspired. Some might say it was a calling or a vision. Though this applies to all of life, what is your vision of your weight and health? Is your dream to travel, see the sights, and visit special locations? It doesn’t have to big dreams that have no basis in your reality. They could be like goals, ambitions, or desires. Is your dream fading with age? Is your dream stronger than any excuse you might have to reach the unreachable star? Can you see yourself the weight you desire and is that dream strong enough to take your there? The best is yet to come.
