Today is April 15th. It’s not April fools, but it is a nevertheless and day that you better not forget. Yes, it’s the day you need to get those last-minute tax returns mailed or emailed to the IRS. It’s not a holiday but I know that some people take off work to get their taxes done. We are heading out for California today. I turned my taxes in and are on the road. We have a rather aggressive diet plan schedule ahead. Trips are difficult but not far from impossible. We just came back from a week in Williamsburg where we did stay on our diet. Now it’s three weeks on the road. We have our plan and we are sticking to it. We will counter any variations with corrective modifications and exercise. There will be challenges, but we have contingency plans in place so that we continue to lose weight while traveling. We usually stop at a rest area for lunch and eat a prepared chicken salad. Works great and saves money also. So let’s look at April 15th as a start of something great.
