An excuse changes nothing. An excuse is just talk and no action. You complete nothing by exercising an excuse. Now exercising will get something done. I’m sure you know people who put on a good talk, but never get doing anything. They may tell you about all their aches and pains but won’t get the weight off that’s causing those aches and pains. This is more than procrastination. This is excusing oneself out of doing something at all. This is procrastination to infinity and beyond. Sounds a little harsh, but excusers need a wakeup bonk or a slap in the back of the head.
If you have no plans to do anything, that’s fine. Sometimes I come across as saying diet or else. However, this is totally your choice. There is no condemnation if you do or don’t go on a weight loss diet. The only thing is make a decision about the weight loss plan and just do it. Don’t make excuses and do nothing. A decision not to go on a diet is at least doing something. Then drop the excuses. If you’re still making excuses, you haven’t made a decision. Maybe you just need to lose the weight.
